Daniel Santjer is a Pacific Northwest artist who has always been captivated by the intricate patterns and textures of the world around us.
He loves the details of everyday life, ones that we often overlook. Whether it's a rusty spring, crackling paint on a worn windowsill, a hummingbird's shadow on a kitchen curtain, or the way water puddles around a fallen leaf, he likes to capture the image and focus on that moment, that point in time. He enjoys taking pictures of a multitude of subjects, but his preference is nature and close-up photography, looking for unique patterns, textures and natural contrasts.
